First Presbyterian Church commissioned Lynchburg Stained Glass to replace the wood frame on this large stained-glass window. On the interior of the church, the majority of the window had been previously plastered over, leaving only the circle portion of the window still visible.
LSG fabricated a new replacement frame using rot-resistant wood. Half of the existing stained glass was restored and reused; however, the other half is new, crafted to match the original in style and color. The new frame accommodates a tempered safety glass storm covering to protect the stained glass. We also removed the plaster so that the entire window is visible from within the church once again.
